Phoenix, Ariz. -  The Arizona Corporation Commission is proud to announce that Commissioner Rachel Walden has been appointed to the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) Committee on Water. This appointment underscores Commissioner Walden’s leadership and dedication to ensuring Arizona’s water resources are responsibly managed while advocating for sound regulatory policies that protect both consumers and infrastructure.

The NARUC Committee on Water serves as a key forum for state regulators to collaborate on issues such as water affordability, conservation, infrastructure investment, and regulatory best practices. The committee plays a crucial role in shaping policies that support sustainable and efficient water management across the country.

Commissioner Walden is a strong advocate for responsible resource management and fair regulatory practices. “I am honored to join the NARUC Committee on Water and contribute to the important work of ensuring safe, reliable, and affordable water services for communities,” said Commissioner Walden. “Water is one of our most vital resources, and I look forward to being an advocate at the national level for Arizona’s unique water challenges.
