Arizona Corporation Commission to Participate in National Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day

PHOENIX — Arizona Corporation Commission Chairman Tom Forese today announced that the Corporation Commission will be participating in National Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day on Thursday April 26, 2018. As has been widely publicized, Arizona teachers plan to begin their strike on Thursday, leaving many schools closed throughout the state. “This is a great opportunity for the children of our staff members to see and experience how their parents help Arizonans every day,” said Arizona Corporation Commission Chairman Tom Forese. “It will also help ensure that our staff won’t need to make other arrangements should their child’s school be closed Thursday.” National Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day coincides with the Corporation Commission’s monthly Open Meeting, giving staff’s children a unique opportunity to see the Commissioners in action.
