Arizona Power Plant and Transmission Line Siting Committee

The Committee consists of eleven members.  Section 40-360.01 establishes the general makeup of the committee. 

Five positions are filled by officials from state agencies and six are filled by the Corporation Commission:

1. Adam Stafford serves as the Attorney General's designee and, by statute, is the Committee Chair.
2. Leonard Drago is the designee for the Director of the Department of Environmental Quality.
3. Clint Chandler is the designee for the Department of Water Resources.
4. Nicole Hill is the designee for the Director of the Energy Office of the Department of Commerce.
5. Michael Comstock serves as the designee of the Chairman of the Arizona Corporation Commission.

 Six members appointed by the Arizona Corporation Commission to each serve a term of two years:

1. Douglas Fant (term expires 5/1/27) represents the General Public
2. Sal Diciccio (term expires 5/1/27) represents Cities & Towns
3. Margaret "Toby" Little (term expires 5/1/27) represents the General Public
4. VACANT represents the Agriculture
5. Roman Fontes (term expires 5/1/27) represents Counties
6. Gabby Saucedo Mercer (term expires 5/1/27) represents the General Public.
